Safe Mode Scanning

Are there any know issues with scanning with AntiSpyware in safe mode?

I have just received an error while trying to do this. I had completed a
successful scan (which found 11 issues! Good job!!!) during a normal logon
session. I then rebooted into Safe mode to repeat the scan (to check there
was no difference in the results) and I saw the following behavior:

1) As soon as MSAS started up the splash screen was displayed stating
"Loading Spyware Signatures"
2) It then popped up an "Unexpected Error; Quitting" window with the OK
button
3) Once I clicked this The splash screen changed to "Loading Spyware Engine"
4) A second unexpected error popup windows was displayed.
5) Once I clicked OK again the final Warning window stating Critical Error
101 window was shown with and OK button
6) Once this button was clicked the application closed down.

Once I restarted into normal operation mode the scanner worked fine!
I am using version 1.0.501 with a definition file dated 22-1-2005

If this is NOT a known issue let me know and I'll send in a report to
spybeta, but I know you guys are swamped so I thought I'd check here before
sending that in.

Is this a persistent reoccurrence in Safe Mode or it only tried in Safe Mode
once?

I've advised lots of people to scan in safe mode, and this is the only such
report I've seen.

There can be visual errors in safe mode that aren't seen in the normal mode,
but I haven't heard of the app crashing before.

Another one is restore button minimizing, scrolling has some problems, but
you still can scan.

Yes I have rebooted and completed a successful normal mode scan, returned to
safe mode and the same thing happens.
It sounds like this is not a known issue so I'll post it as a bug.

Thanks
