Safe Mode Problem

Whenever I start Microsoft Word 2002, I get a message saying that I did not
close Microsoft properly and it opens up in Safe Mode. Despite using the
"defect and repair" figure, as well as uninstalling the entire program, I
still encounter the same message and Safe Mode. Please help....

The problem is likely to be a damaged normal.dot template or a
malfunctioning add-in. See
