Runtime error

A runtime error has occurred. Do you wish to debug?
Line 1 Error: Invalid character

When you start IE and before going to e-mail or news groups go to Tools. Go
to the advanced tab. In the advanced tab check disable the script error or
debugging. Uncheck the entry one or two lines below it that calls for you to
be notified of this type of error. That will stop the problem, and not
affect anything else you are doing.

Thank you so much, Mike. This has been going on for
months and I've even contacted MS about it. You are the
only one who told me how to fix it.

Thanks again

I have the same problem - So we turn off the script debuging BUT that
does not answer the problem as to why it is happening?

Any Ideas

Thanks

Ron

Bad coding on the page.
Some security software or pop up killer in the way.

Script engine issues.
Microsoft's Scripting download
Get the latest. Two download versions are available for Windows Script 5.6.
The first version requires Windows 2000, XP; the second version requires
Microsoft Windows 98, Millenium Edition (Me), or NT 4.0.
Choose the download appropriate for your operating system.
