Run Time Error

On a bunch of web sites I keep getting a message
saying "A Runtime Error has occurred. Do you wish to
Debug? Line: 1 Error: Invalid character." This is really
annoying both me and others in my house. How do I stop
this?

The only solution that I found, and was recommended by my
ISP, was to try another browser software. So I installed
Netscape Navigator 7.1 and the problem seemed to go away.
It has to be something corrupted in Internet Explorer.

Common script errors messages can be eliminated by Clicking:
Menu: Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab.
Check "Disable script debugging"
Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"
