runtime error 203

I keep getting the same message: "runtime error 203."
Sometimes it has more numbers listed after that, but
that's all it says. I use Windows XP Professional. The
error occurs when I'm running online programs, mostly
when I try to download. It also occurs when I'm running
programs off-line sometimes. When I close the dialog box
with the message, the program that the message occurred
in shuts down completely. Please help.

Reinstall IE6, copy/paste this command into a start/run prompt and click
"ok":

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132
%windir%\Inf\ie.inf
