RunDLL

Ran the Beta and deleted certain adware. Now upon
startup I receive the following error:

RUNDLL

Error Loading C:\PROGRA~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL
The Specified Module Could Not be found.

I tried to use system restore, but I receive a message
(no matter which restore date I pick) that the system is
unable to restore from that date.

Please help!

Hi,
You may be aware of this but NEWDOT is a well know spyware
product. So you are better off without it. From your
description is appears a registry entry is making a call to
a NEWDOT DLL executible at start up. If you have a
registry cleaning programme try running that and see if it
will find the orphaned link. You could try downloading a
trial version of Ashampoo Winoptimizer. This has an, albeit
very conservative, registry cleaner and, which may be more
useful, a module that will list start up entries. Run this
and see if there is an entry to the programme you mention.
First try disabling it and later removing it. Two other
alternatives are to search through registry for entries to
START -- RUN -- type in regedit, then when the programme
has loaded click on the My Computer Icon, then to search
for NEWDOT go to: EDIT, on the top toolbar, --- FIND and
enter into dialogue box NEWDOT and then press enter, delete
the relevant entry, then press F3 after each deletion. You
should back up the registry first: FILE, on the top
toolbar, --- EXPORT, select the ALL radio button and back
up the registry to a location of your choosing and with a
name, e.g. reg1. A safer alternative is probably to
download Adaware and SpyBot Search and Destroy and see if
they will clean the problem for you.

All the best
