Roxio UDF Reader files disappeared off the CD

Someone sent me a CD-R of pictures -- all I could see on the CD were 3
files: (1) Autorun.inf = 1 KB, (2) UdfrChk.exe = 40 KB, and (3) udfrinst.zl
= 377 KB.

These files wanted to install Roxio UDF Reader, which I did -- then I could
see the image files. But the 3 Roxio files no longer appear on the CD --
how is that possible?

You just loaded a (more or less think of it this way anyways) device driver
that sits between the OS and the CD. It's probably what's doing the
"masking".
