Roll up SP4 V1 and V2

Hi,

I really need some help here. Ever since we put Roll up V1 and V2 on login
seems really slow. The slowness is visible when it says Preparing Network
Connections, it takes about 80 secs for a user to login. Things where fine
before roll up.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

If you have Sophos Anti-Virus:

Customers who use Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows version 5 may
experience a delay when they log on to their networks

I wish I did, it would of been a good fix. We us McaFee Enterprise
Version.

Check your Event Log, also try disabling McAfee temporarily to see if
the startup time is any different.

We had this issue, but it was related to Sophos.

Tried and disabled McAfee, but it did not work. Nothing in the event logs
to report.

Thanks

Hi,

Are you seeing this on multiple machines (how many, and is it ALL
machines)? Have you tried a google search "Preparing Network
Connections" - there's quite a few people talking about it.

In my case, we got it on EVERY machine as soon as we appled the rollup.

Have you tried uninstalling it on one machine to see if it suddenly
starts working again?
