Riptide video card with XP

I upgraded to XP this weekend from 98SE and am trying to
get the new Simpons game up and running. It loads fine
and I have upgraded to DirectX 9, however, I keep getting
the following error and can not find a driver to fix it.
I have a Riptide video/audio card that came with my HP
about three years ago. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Error message:
"Could not start DirectX!
Please check that you have DirectX 8.1 or higher, and
that you video card is supported by the game."

Hi Kent,

I've heard of Riptides combo Modem / Audio cards,
but I've never heard of any video products by them.
It's possible you're mistaken, please double check. ;-)
