Retrieve backup.pst "Help"

Please someone help me...

I saved my old outlook e-mails as a backup.pst via export
and burnt them to a CD. I then reformated my comp and
cannot retrieve them on the new (same version) outlook.
when I go File, Import Export, Click next at import
another file or program, then choose personal folder file
(.pst), then click next, and browse for the backup.pst
file and hit ok then an error message of sort comes up
saying; Properties for this information service must be
defined prior to use", I hit ok and it says "file access
is denied you do not have the permission required to
access this file".

Any help that anyone can give me would be greatly
appreciated.

Copy the PST file to the hard drive and right click on it

remove the read only property now give it a try.
