When I try to play a CD in my drive I get this error....

Restriction
"This operations has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this
computer. Please contact the Administrator."

How do I remove the restriction?

Go to Control Panel>AdminTools>Local Security Policy>Security

Disabled.

Try going to Start>Run type: regedit Navigate to
HKey_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Policies\Explorer See if there's any entry in the rt pane denying
access to your cdrom. If yes, delete it.

You might try looking in event viewer to see what the actual error was.

I tried to run the CD. Got the same restriction error. Looked in the event
viewer and nothing was reported....
