If I try to click on a link in an email I get a message that state this
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer
please contact your system administrator. I am the administrator and did not
have this problem before my computer did an update recently. How do I take
this restriction off. Thanks in advance for your help!

Gordon,
As a matter of fact, yes I did.

Searched All Office Online for ""This operation has been canc..."

This is where the help should be found, but as usual Microsoft falls short.
I don't know
the circumstances of the person asking the question and mean no offense by the
following comments.

Many people asking these types of questions are home users, they are
administrators
by default with no training, experience or informative guidance from
Microsoft. They go to the place where the answers should be readily
available and get "no results". What do you expect them to do? That's how
those of us who have more information can provide them assistance no matter
how many times the question is asked. If microsoft had pointed to the
location you provided, they might not have had to ask the question so many
times.
Regards
