Is there a way to restrict a program execution for specific users? I
checked the Group Policy Editor under user configuration and can't see a
way to do it there.
I can see ways of blocking program execution (software restriction
policies) in the Local Security Policy applet but affects all users on
the computer.
The only way I can do what I want is to set the targeted program's
executable file to not run by setting the file's security permission to
not execute, then using the group policy editor to remove the "security"
tab from the file properity dialogue box for that user. The problem with
this way is that user now has no access to the properties security
section for all other files.
TIA
