Restricting access to a PC

Is there a way to restrict usage of a PC running XP Home? I'm trying to find a way to restrict access to certain times on a kid's PC. I know that on weekends, he stays on the computer till the wee hours of morning, I want to be able to have the computer un-usable after a certain time without me having to manually intervene. I think there was a way to do this in Win2000 Pro, but I haven't found the same functions in XP
Any suggestions?
