Restricted Sites!

Arpan

Internet Explorer 6.0 generates a dialog box with the following message when a website which is listed as a "Restricted Site" (Tools-->Internet Options-->Security) is visited:

Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly.

Is there any way by which I can make IE stop showing this message when I visit a "Restricted" website?

Please note that I am working on Windows 2000 Professional.

Thanks,

Arpan

Hi Arpan :)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Disable the Script Debugger in IE (Line 142) - Win XP
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

If these steps do not resolve your problem, or you need help with the above,
please post back to this thread with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps

Not without changing Restricted Zone to allow ActiveX, which you shouldn't
do.
