Restricted Sites

When I try to add a RESTRICTED site - MS Antispyware
gives me a pop-up telling me the it has blocked adding
the site to my TRUSTED sites. I can't add the site to my
RESTRICTED sites list!

Go ahead and allow the addition, even though the message is wrong--to test
this, try just using a made up or known to be safe site.

After allowing it, check the two lists, to see whether the site has been
added to the proper list (i.e. restricted.)

Internet Explorer, tools, Internet options, security tab. Click on Trusted
Sites or Restricted sites, and hit the button to look at the site lists.

I have the same problem: a site does not appear in the
Trusted sites and I can not include it in the Restricted
web sites.

I think there is a place somewhere where the Trusted web-
sites are stored which is not the same as what we see
when doing what you recommand:
Internet Explorer, tools, Internet options, security
tab. Click on Trusted
Sites or Restricted sites, and hit the button to look at
the site lists.

Is there another way to see these truster web-sites which
do not appear in ie ?

The underlying information is stored in the registry, but I don't have the
details at hand, and really wouldn't recommend direct registry editing for
this issue.

Are you saying that when you attempt to add a site to the restricted sites
list in IE, that doesn't happen?

Try shutting down Microsoft Antispyware by right-clicking on the
notification area icon, and then making the change. I realize that this is
begging the question, but at least you ought to be able to get the site in
there!
