Restore Outlook Express eMails to SMTP

Hi,

I reinstalled my system, and I'm using outlook for years. Now I forgot
to check the "Leave Message on Server" property. All my emails are now
in outlook and no mail is at my mail provider. I'm using at work
outlook and at home the web interface of my mail provider. How can I
put/copy my mails from outlook express back to my mail provider with
the correct date and all attachments?? Only have SMTP/POP access, no
IMAP.
Well, I could develop a program, that would read every mail through
outlook api, extract the date, make a smtp connection with my mail
provider and send it back to the server including the attachment. Is
there already any tool that does the job?? I'm happy for every answer.

Thx in advance.

Best to ask an Outlook Express newsgroup.

Backup all your OE mail to external medium (pen drive, CD, network drive
etc) - see here:
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/backup/ for methods on how to do that.
Then restore the OE mail to OE on your Work machine.
Then export from OE to Outlook.

Since I presume this is not a mail server under your direct control, there's
no way to restore the already downloaded mail to your inbox on that server.
The only thing you could do is send it all to yourself (but that would
change the sender / date / time.)
