I accidentally replaced a file that I only wanted to add photos to. Is there a way to get back the original folder? It was a file of a new born baby, and I just wanted to add his 1 year birthday photos to his birth photos, and instead of adding to the file I replaced the old photos with the new!! BUMMER!! HELP!!!

Did you see the prompt, "Would you like to replace
the existing file with this one?". Did you choose...Yes?

This overwrites the original file...it cannot be recovered.

To prevent this from happening, the new file must have
a different name.

Thank you for your quick response. You would think that if I used System Restore (which I did) that it would bring me back to before I accidentally deleted it. Any ideas?

System Restore will not restore files you have created.
If you deleted the file and did not overwrite it you may be able to recover
the file with some type recover software such as UnDelete
