Restarts On Splash Screen

I have a problem with my PC. Been working fine back now everytime i start it
up it gets to the Windows XP Splash screen then the PC justs restarts with no
error's.

I have changed Memory and still the same. I tried another hard drive but
when trying to install Win Xp it freeze's on startup to installation. I tried
my Win98 hard drive and it did the exact same thing, restarted on windows
splash screen.

Could it be something wrong in Bios? Motherboard faulty? CPU?
Any help would be much appreciated. Any software to check for Bios Virus?

DILIP

This generally takes place due to either incorrectly placed Memory Sticks or
a motherboard problem. Check that those memory stick connections are proper
first. It's very important.
