Restart just shuts down

When I select Start> Turn Off Computer> Restart my
computer just shuts down and does not restart unless I
push the power button to turn the computer back on. How
can I correct this?

Thanks Will, but there is nothing on that website for this
shutdown problem. Anyone else that can help?
