Repeated crashes

my system keeps crashing at random times, often after
sitting unused for more than ten minutes. The error
report identifies "rdbss.sys" as the culprit, which was
installed with one of the forty zillion upgrades and
patches MS sends out. What do I do with this
information???

I had a similar problem with the sam "rdbss.sys"
It downloads with SP1, go figure. It was initially used
for win2000

My computer would get the blue screen from hell on
startup and refuse to go further. I managed to get in
eventually on SAFE mode - I simply deleted the file, and
had no more problems.

You might want to make a backup of this file JUST IN CASE
but it absolutely was useless on my computer, everything
worked great WITHOUT this file. Kinda makes you wonder
what other $!@$%#@$ is included with WinXP or in the
Updates ;-{
