Repairing a corrupted directory

S

Steve Lee

Is there a way to repair a corrupted directory, instead of deleting
it, even if it means using a 3rd party program? This one program file
directory became corrupted and when I click on the directory in
Windows Explorer, the error message says, "C:\Program Files\emule" is
not accessible. The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable".

It'd be very nice if I can repair and save the directory and the
contents thereof, instead of having to delete it. I've referred to
this link to find out how to delete a corrupted files or folders, but
I'd like to be able to salvage and repair the directory before I have
to resort to that.

Thanks for your time and courtesy.
