Removing Commercial add toolbar buttons in IE (help)

R

Rick

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to read this. I have
to toolbar buttons that are attached to my IE. I had
downloaded a program, and the next time I used IE I had 2
new commercial buttons on is Hide PeopleOnPage and the
other is Click to Active POP! I would like to remove them
completely. I clicked on remove toolbars but they came
back the net time I opened IE. I can't seem to remove
these 2. I had even removed IE and re-installed it. If
anyone can help that would be great.
Thanks
Rick..

PeopleOnPage
http://www.peopleonpage.com/index.html
Uses pop138.dll
There may be an un install program available. But I would start by renaming
that file to Oldpop138.dll and if all is well delete it.

I would suggest you try this:
Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#det
Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/forums/

Sign in, then copy and paste both files in your message.
