Removing a Domian

I have a weird occurance on our network. W ehave one domain and only one
domain at my company. When we search the network under my network places two
show up. The first one domain called Alliance is our main doamin. A second
one showed last year after a consultant hooked up to our network. The second
domain called dvsr is the one I want to remove. How can I accomplish this.

I believe that your problem may be in your DNS server. Since all computers on
the network get information about the network from the DNS server, it only
makes since that it may have incorrect settings. I suggest attemping to find
any references to any domain controllers, or computers on "dvsr" and remove
them. I hope this helps your or atleast points you in the right direction.

I took a look at our DNS servers and can't find anything that refers to a
Dvsr domain.
