remove or unlink Default Domain Policy

Guest

I inherited a "messed-up" default domain policy, and I have created a GPO that I know has the configurations that I want to deploy as my new and improved default domain policy -
Can I remove or unlink the Default Domain Policy from my Domain and instead Add my GPO -
What are the ramifications of doing this, and what do I need to consider

Thanks

Hi Jaynie

You can replace the old default domain policy with the new domain policy by
going into Winnt-SYSVOL\domain\Policies\31B...and replace the contents of
the folder with the contents of your new policy. Then run "secedit
/refreshpolicy machine_policy /enforce".
