Remove Network Settings

P

Paul

I have two computers connected by a crossover cable
over "NetBEUI". The HOST one is running Windows XP Pro.
and the CLIENT one is running Windows 98 SE. I want to
remove the network settings COMPLETELY from both computers
and reinstall it. In order to remove the settings
completely, Do I need to use any SPECIFIC software?
If "Yes", where and how to find it?

Thank you very much for your help!

On Windows 98 SE, go to Control Panel | Network and un-install all of
the network components.

On Windows XP Pro, go to the Network Connections folder, right click
the network connection, and un-install each network component except
TCP/IP, which can't be un-installed. Then, go to Device Manager and
un-install the network adapter.

On both systems, reboot and let it re-install the network adapter.
