Remote desktop on Windows XP Home and Prof.

M

Marc

Hi,

I have got Windows XP Prof. on one computer and Win XP
Home on another. They are both connected to the internet
and are both connected through a decent router.
I can connect to the Prof. computer from the Home
computer, but when I try and connect to the Home edition
computer from the prof. edition, it comes up with:

"The remote computer has ended the connection."

Help please...?

XP Home cannot act as a Remote Desktop host, but it can
use the RD client.

XP Professional can act as both a host and a client.

For XP Home, you can use Remote Assistance, Netmeeting,
or something like VNC/PCAnywhere.
