remote assistance setup

I have setup the XP Pro to "Allow remote Assistance
invitations to be sent from this computer" and allow this
computerto be controlled remotely.

My problem is after I login from another machine to
administor the XP machine, the XP machine goes to the
login screen. I'm trying to be on at the same time with
the other user and control the session.

What am I missing?

It sounds like you're using Remote Desktop instead of Remote Assistance.
Remote Desktop only allows one user at a time (i.e. you cannot be logged on
at the console and remotely at the same time).

If you want to use Remote Assistance, you should use the mechanisms
described in help to do this (i.e. using Windows/MSN Messenger to make a
remote assistance request, etc.).
