Hi,
installed Outlook 2007 in my PC XP pro, now the Remote assistance cannot
see it.
before when i had outlook 2003 i did use the remote assistance and it did
recognise outlook 2003 but since i installed 2007 now cannot recognise it.

this is the msg i got

"Remote Assistance is either incompatible with the default e-mail program on
this computer, or could not detect a default e-mail account." and it is
offering me to setup outlook express

anyone can help?

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply.
Outlook 2007 profile is configured and i can send and receive emails. it is
only when i go to remote assistance and invite a friend, i only have the
option of using msn not outlook.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Nile

When the compose window opens in MSN, select all the text in the message, and
compose another message to your friend using Outlook 07, pasting in the text.

but this is still not fixing my problem which is why Remote Assistance
cannot detect outlook 2007.

i cannot use MSN as it has been blocked by admin.

Cheers
