I have a group of users that require read access to all Event Viewer
logs, for both W2K and W2K3 servers, without using Administration
privileges. I can access the logs of my W2K server but I'm unable to
do it with the W2K3 servers.
If I add the users to the "Manage auditing and security log" in the
W2K3 target server I manage to access its security log, but I still
can't access the Application and the System log.
I was wondering if I can use the Delegation Control Wizard to provide
the read access to the logs, but I can't figure what object represents
the Event Viewer.
I have read the KB323076 article (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/
323076) but i would like to use a GPO instead of changing the
registry...
Thanks in advance
