remember each folder's view settings

can anyone give me an example so I can see the difference toggleing "Remember
each folder's settings" makes?
This can be found click Control panel, then network internet options, Tools,
Folder options, click onthe View Tab, then 5th one from the bottom you'll
find remember each folder's view settings

Folder Options | View tab | Remember each folder's view settings

Remember each folder's view settings:
[[Specifies that the individual folder settings are retained whenever you
close and then reopen the folder. When this box is not selected, all folder
settings return to the default when the folder is closed and then
reopened.]]

To open Folder Options you can also click Start, Click Run, type: control
folders and then click OK.
