Registration Wizard Wont Run

When I Try to run the "registration Wizard" I am greeted
with The Message that the Wizard Cannot run - To Run the
Wizard you need a Dialup Modem or an active internet
connection". I have a DSL Line with Norton Personal
Firewall. Why can I NOT Run the Wizard?
It is clearly defective and must be replaced. Things such as
this may force me to buy/try Linux Yet!!

Turn off the firewall and try it again. Also, try running the Network
Wizard to allow the system to detect the DSL connection.

Try with Windows firewall on and Norton off. And with a normal DSL
connection, that looks like a LAN and not a dialup yo have to invoke, go
to Control Panel - Internet Options - Connections and have it on 'never
dial a connection'. If it does show as if a dial up, have it
highlighted and click Default, then select to dial default connection
