Recycle bin on desktop

Tim

I want to have a desktop with no icons on it. I have
everything pinned to my Start Menu including the Recycle
Bin, but cannot figure out how to get my Recycle Bin icon
off my desktop. Anyone know how to remove from desktop?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Tim,

Right click the desktop, pointing to Arrange Icons By, and then uncheck
"Show Desktop Icons".

This hides all the icons in the Desktop. If you want to hide the Recycle bin
icon alone, download this script from:

you can also go to START / RUN and type "mmc /a"
then load the group policy snap-in
under administrative template i think.
then desktop
