recovery console adminstrator password

to log on to Recovery Console. (308402). How do I easily
download the Q308402 hotfix that the article mentions???

I read the article and have been trying to contact MPSS
for well over an hour, but have run into a variety of
roadblocks and dead ends (like not being able to get
online help because I have OEM software). How do I get
the Q308402 hotfix for free? Thanks! Toni Muller

I read the article and have been trying to get the
Q308402 hotfix for well over an hour. I keep running
into dead ends or road blocks at MPSS (like having an OEM
version on Windows XP). I even tried installing the
entire service pack 1a, which is supposed to include this
fix, but I still can't get past the password. All I want
to do is format my hard drive (it's been two years).
Perhaps there is another way? I would appreciate any
help. Thanks! Toni Muller
