recording sound from sirius radio to pc

In have a good recording program that will record from the microphone. Is
there anyway to record satelite tv radio and convert to mp3 on computer?
Would this be illegal? Any help appreciated. Thank you.

In general, to record from an audio source, you need to run a cable from the
line-out or headphone jack of your source to the line-in or microphone jack
of your computer. This is how you would, say, rip audio your home-made
cassette tapes, or rip tapes you owned.

Check your Sirius license agreement to determine whether or not such
recording is allowed. It's probably not, but since it's a subscription
service, it's up to Sirius to decide that.

I'm also very sensitive about legality of softwares, music etc. I would like
to know if recording of internet radio for personal use only is legal or not.
