Record Now Deluxe Suite will it make drag and drop possible?

I have a new computer that has windows XP. It came with Sonic Record Now
6.5. I hate that I can't drag and drop files to a CD. I also hate that I
can't take that CD to another computer and drag and drop info from the CD to
this other computer. On my old computer with Windows ME I had Roxio 5 on it
and Roxio allowed me to do all this. I hesitate to put Roxio 5 on my Windows
XP program. I have heard that Sonic Record Now Deluxe package will let me
treat my CD's like a giant floppy. Before I invest does anyone know if this
is true?
Thank you in advance on any advice you offer.

Roxio 5 patched from the Roxio site will work in XP.

You were using the Direct CD that came with the Roxio package. The
equivalent from Sonic is DLA (IMHO the better of the two). If it did
not come with your bundled RecordNow (take a look in its installer) then
it is separately obtainable from Sonic; see
http://www.sonic.com/products/dla/features.asp
