real time charting contd.

i got a reply regarding my question regarding real-time
charting, but is there some way to save entries from a
changing cell periodically, say every 15 mins? i have
one cell that displays stock quotes in real time, and i
would like to save the data from this cell in given time
intervals. any insights would definitely be appreciated.

I don't believe you can plot data that haven't been saved
somewhere.

Could someone please help me. I have setup my Excel
spreadsheet to obtain real-time stock quotes. I would
like to graph the stock price, especially during the
day . How can this be done since I only have one cell
that is constantly updated, and also is there some way to
show multiple graphs, for instance, intra-day, past 30
days, past year etc. Thanks to everyone.

Do you know any VBA? Check into Application.OnTime to run code at
regular intervals. Or you could use the autosave add-in, which comes
with Excel, or Jan Karel Pieterse's AutoSafe add-in:
