I upgraded from XP and now find my wireless has disappeared. I have updated
the driver but the icon says the Ralink wireless lan card 'Not exist'. Has
anyone else had this problem?

Please help.

Is this a laptop? Is there a switch or button on the laptop to turn off the
wireless?

Contact the notebook manufacturer and see whether they have a special
driver.... sometimes the 'real' manufacturers (ie Ralink) have to built the
device with specific requirements for the notebook manufacturer.
