WIFI in XP

How do I find what WIFI type is in my computer? I have a Pacard Bell
with 1.83 MHrtz processor & 2g of ram. I checked my device manager and
have a Ralink Wireless Lan card V2. I can't seem to get it to connect
to a known active wireless hub. Which property should I enable for
this card? There are 23 different ones available in the advanced
settings?

Did your wireless router come with an owners manual? It should explain
(usually in great detail) how to setup the router and add devices to
your network. Ditto for your wireless network adapter.

Ralink produces chipsets for wireless adapters; I do not believe it
manufactures the adapter itself. If your wireless adapter is integrated
into the motherboard of your computer, the computer manufacturer's
technical support can help you.

If you are unable to locate your router's owners manuals, not to fear.
The major manufacturers of wireless routers for home use have detailed
instructions on their websites and also toll-free telephone support.
