Radeon 9800 Pro AGP 8X Won't work...

I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe Motherboard with a 2200+ XP, 512MB 3200
Corsair ram...I just bought a Radeon 9800 Pro and I cannot get it to
go into AGP 8X...I have the latest cataclym drivers and still...and I
have the latest nforce drivers before 3.13 (cause they won't install)
What am I doing wrong? How can I reap the full benefits of my card?

Do you have AGP support enaabled in your bios settings, I have the same
board same power supply no problem
