QuickTime media player not showing

Is there a way to make the player interface appear before
the video starts playing?

Check out my site www.globedigitalmedia.com then click
videos, scroll to the bottom and then click any of the
quicktime samples. The interface shows only after the
video starts. I would like people to see the slider
moving as the video is being downloded.

If you look below the quiktime sample you will see the
windows versions.

You can disable QT from loading at start up, so that it is only available
with needed.

I don't and won't have it.
Don't or won't have RealPlayer either.

Yes you can. I opt to make it easier on myself by just not installing it.
