I eliminated the problem I was having, mentioned in "No web connect after
SP2 Update". I wish I could explain WHY the problem was eliminated, but like
the old Budweiser commercial said, "Why ask why?"

One thing left - a point of curiosity. You suggested this:
netsh winsock reset catalog

What was that all about?
