Question about Microsoft's new (?) release of Remote Desktop client software

I don't know what has changed in this release, but it is definitely revised,
and I would recommend downloading it.

It may implement RDP 5.2 as the client supplied with Windows Server 2003
did. However, I don't know what that would do for you connecting to XP SP2.

I'll see if I can find out more and make a more useful post.

Wow... That is new... :) I've been out of the loop the past week
due to work obligations... I'll check...

All I see is that it is the same as the RDC client in SP2, and I
haven't noticed anything major like the changes in the client between
the gold product and SP1...

If the old one works, you probably need not update it...
