Advice re MS iSCSI Software Initiator

Mike J

I'm running XP HE SP2 on two computers - a PC and a laptop - on a wireless
network. The PC has a virtual drive (created with Alcohol 120%), and I want
to be able to this from the laptop. I understand I need to install the MS
iSCSI Software Initiator on both machines in order to do this, but I'm
confused as to which version I need.

The options are:

Initiator- 2.01-QFE-908935-amd64fre.exe
" " -ia64fre.exe
" " " -x86fre.exe

Thank you very much.

amd64fre -- AMD 64 bit processors
ia64fre -- Intel 64 bit processos (aka Itanium)
x86fre -- Standard 32 bit processors

BTW: fre seems to mean that this initiator may have all the prompts/work in
French. It this the correct language that you are using?

Thanks, Yves. I've no idea as to why it's French...I followed the link to
the MS page from Alcohol's help page.

Yves - just a quick line to let you know it's in English. Thanks again for
your help.
