PUBLISHED PRINTERS KEEP ON GETTING PRUNED

C

Calvin Lai

There are 5 DC's in the domain. One DC is a print server which has a
few printers shared out and published. In addition to that, there are
also two file and print servers that have printers shared out and
published.

For some reason, all published printers get pruned everyday. I have
to restart the print spooler service on each DC every morning for the
published printers to show up in AD.

I've set the policy for ALLOW PRUNING OF PUBLISHED PRINTERS to
DISABLED in the domain controller container but that doesn't work. I
also tried setting the policy in the domain container but that doesn't
work either.

Any ideas?????????????????????????????????
