PST File Problem

Running Vista and Office 2007

Message says:

Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The
set of folders cannot be opened. The file C:\Useres\FL\outlook\outlook.pst is
n ot a personal folders file.

Help!

You stated earlier you had a pwr failure, if this was so the pst may have
been corrupted, try the repair tool scanpst.exe on the pst.
If that doesnt work create a new data file, set it as the default store,
remove origonal data file, then use your backups to recover data.
