pst backup error

Hi,

I am helping a user who has Windows 2000 and Outlook
2000. She keeps getting the same error message when
she boots up her pc and then when she clicks send and
receive in outlook. The error message says "Personal
Folder: The path specified for the path
E:\SJones\Outlook.pst is not valid". When we click on OK
it takes us to a window that says "Create A Personal File
Folder". We just cancel out of this and the no into
Outlook. Whenever we click send and receive we get the
same error message. Can anyone help us to get rid of
these error messages?

Thanks,

Chuck

Is the file in question her mailbox store or an archive or
backup that was created and opened? Once you get past the
error messages and Outlook comes up does she see her email
items, contacts, etc? It simply sounds like the file in
question is not where Outlook is looking. Check the path
for that file and if it is just that then the repathing
should work. Post back to the forum with the results or
more info if you still have troubles.
