AOL Outlook 2003 not sending

I have a student who is using AOL through Outlook 2003. All of her setups
look just fine...the smtp, imap, etc....everything appears to be in there
alright. She can send with no problem....but can't recieve anything thru OL.
When we hit Send/Recieve we get this message:
Task 'Checking for new mail in subscribed folders on Linda K..' reported
error (0x800CCC0E) : 'Outlook is unable to download folder (null) from the
IMAP e-mail server for account Linda K.. Error: Unable to connect to the
server. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server
administrator or Internet service provider (ISP). Any ideas as to how to
get this cleared up? She called AOL and they said it's a MS issue...she said
she talked to someone at MS who said it's an AOL issue.....whoever's issue it
si....does anyone out there have a clue as to how to get this fixed? This
site is amazing and has helped me immeasurably....Thanks in advance for any
help you can give us.

All I can suggest is that you check and double check the settings.

Thanks for your quick response, Adam! Unfortunately, we have quadruple
checked the settings.

Actually, I had found your link on another query and actually did change
the IMAP Port to 143 per your instructions....and that did eliminate the
error message....so that part is good.....however, she still can't
recieve......she can send beautifully.....but recieves nothing.....any other
suggestions???
