protect home page url

when i open the browser an unwanted program runs and
replaces "www.yahoo.com" in the home page field in tools >
internet options to some other page with offensive
content. i change it back but it happens again and again.
how do i protect this setting?

Your computer is probably loaded with Spyware. Download SpyBot. It's free,
and it will clear out the Spyware for you. The author asks for a donation,
but it's voluntary.

There's also a great little program called EmptyTemp folders. It's also

I've been using these two programs for a couple of years. They are easy to

You welcome - one other thing about SpyBot. It has an Immunize feature that
will keep known Spyware out once your PC is Spyware free.
