I have 2 computers a Dell desktop and a Gateway laptop. When I right click My
Computer to get system information on the Dell I get a box with 7 tabs:
General, Computer name, Hardware, system restore Automatic update, remote and
advanced. When i do the same on the laptop I get a simple "my computer
properties" with three tabs: General, shortcut and Security. Both computers
are running XP 2002 SP2. Any idea why the same action produces different
results? Its frustrating because I have to dig in to Control Panel to
perform the same functions as i do on the desktop. I've noticed several
other places where the menus are not the same.
